Flex Spend, Explained

Push notifications are free and unlimited on every plan. SMS and voice are an optional fallback — billed at provider cost, capped by you. Per-org usage metering (SMS, voice, email, and push sends) is tracked monthly and visible to the account owner, so you always know where your flex credit stands.

Push is always free

Unlimited push alerts on every plan, including iOS critical alerts and Android Do-Not-Disturb bypass. Even at $0 flex credit, paging never stops.

SMS/voice at cost, no markup

An optional fallback for P1 alerts. Usage draws down your included monthly flex credit — $5 on Team, $25 on Business. We bill what the provider bills us, nothing more.

Hard monthly cap

You set the ceiling. When the credit is spent, SMS/voice stop and push keeps going. A bill can never surprise you.

No rollover, no games

Credit resets monthly and doesn't roll over. Compare that to competitors' silent 25–100 SMS caps — or "unlimited" plans that bake the cost into $20–40 seats.

The Honest Comparison

OpsPing is a paging-first on-call tool — schedules, rotations, overrides, and escalation — not an incident-management suite with on-call bolted on.
